The 2008 Leadership Symposium and Commanders Call will be conducted on 10-13 April 2008 at the 127th Infantry Army National Guard Armory complex in Appleton, Wisconsin. The 99th Annual Birthday Ball will be hosted by the Military Cadets of the Fox Valley on Saturday, 12 April 2008.

The American Cadet Alliance - America's oldest and longest-serving nationwide Cadet Corps - will case the colors of the U.S. Naval Cadet Corps and U.S. Marine Cadet Corps on April 10th, 2009. As a result, we will no longer enroll Naval Cadets or Marine Cadets, nor form Naval Cadet Corps or Marine Cadet Corps units. The U.S. Army Cadet Corps is the primary focus of our program.

MAJ Patrick E. Runyon, IG, USAC joins the Office of the ACA Inspector General as an National Headquarters Investigator. MAJ Runyon has an extensive law enforcement background and we welcome him to his new position.

The Office of the Inspector General and National Headquarters has published and released the "A" revision of ACAINST 5370.4 (Cadet Protection Policy). ACAINST 5370.4A includes updated information on the new toll-free IG Hotline Phone Number as well as expanded information on Child Abuse reporting statutes.
